METRIX™ Performance Reporting
A Visual Platform to Easily Measure and Evaluate Learner Progress
Gain unparalleled visibility into learner performance with Sentinel U’s METRIX™. Designed to offer both learners and educators a performance-tracking solution that provides detailed insights to show strengths and areas of opportunity for the individual and cohort.
Upon completion of a simulation, learner responses are calculated by category or skill and displayed by percentage. Scores can be gauged to Sentinel U® benchmarks or used to compare learner groups. Performance data is compiled into easy-to-review charts and panels which can be filtered to isolate course data and group progress and highlight individual learner activity.
For Facilitators
- Track, sort, filter, and evaluate individual or aggregate performance data, including scoring, time spent, progress, and completion.
- Use Performance Tiers to categorize users into competence levels: competent, needs review, or requires assistance. Compare learner activity to Benchmarks and Performance Tiers.
- Align performance with AACN Domains.
- Map learner performance to NCSBN Clinical Judgment Measurement Model, NCLEX Client Needs Categories, and NONPF Subcompetencies/Core Behaviors.
- Download detailed individual activity reports.
- Generate CSV spreadsheets of aggregate performance data for your own customized views for easy utilization.
Competencies
Our subject matter experts map each simulation to AACN Domains, ensuring relevance within a competency-based education model. Sentinel U® also maps products to the NCJMM, NCLEX Client Needs Categories, and NONPF Core Behaviors. Learner scores are filtered through these standards to identify knowledge gaps and remediation opportunities.
Performance Tiers & Benchmarks
Performance Tiers help identify learners' competence levels: competent (upper tier), needs review (middle tier), or requires assistance (lower tier). Benchmarks are set based on expert analysis.
For Learners
- Individual Performance: Quickly view scores, time spent, and completion.
- Attempt Count and Total Time Spent: Crucial metrics for clinical hours, giving insight into both recent and overall performance.
Competencies
Learner performance is mapped to the NCJMM, NCLEX Client Needs Categories, and NONPF Core Behaviors. This analysis helps identify specific strengths and knowledge gaps.
Evaluate & Reflect
Learner activity reports provide immediate feedback through simulation scoring and comprehensive rationale, enabling them to fully understand each encounter, identify personal trends, and analyze their overall performance in the simulation and how it translates to overall practice readiness.
